We
like the ACT
charger because it’s fast, it does not build up heat or damage
batteries, and it seems to have a positive effect on eliminating memory
problems. It has saved us some money on batteries, and made a difference
in our ability to return batteries to operation.
Even
more than we have saved money, we have increased the reliability of the
fleet – and that reliability is more valuable to us. We want to
replace the batteries before they fail on an officer’s belt. We think
the ACT
charger is better for a public safety fleet because it’s easy,
it’s fast, and it appears to do a better job for us. We’re planning
to purchase single-bay ACT
chargers in lieu of the conventional chargers whenever we purchase new
radios.

The

chargers do everything the publicity said it would. They charge a lot

We’re getting all new radios, and I want my guys to be using ACT

a year. used to get 3 or 4 dead batteries a day coming back to me each

We
really appreciate that you put out a good product that does what it says
it does. It’s a rarity when that happens.
We
like the ACT
charger because it’s a carefree charging system, and that is an
extremely good thing to have. The #1 advantage: you put the battery on
and forget about it – you don’t have to check or worry about leaving
a battery on the ACT
charger for it too long. When the green light comes on, it is done --
not 80% and trickle charging. The officers know that the battery will be
good for the whole shift, and that’s extremely important. The other
great advantage is the 30-minute charging time, which helps us get
radios into service quickly.
In
the year we’ve been using the ACT charger, we haven’t had to replace a single battery. I
just wish we’d known about the ACT
charger before we bought the OEM chargers.

I
like the ACT
chargers because they do what they’re advertised to do.
We
had a bunch of batteries in real bad shape. The ACT
charger has done something to them, and now we’re getting much longer
life out of them that we don’t need to replace them.

year, we spent about $5000 just on new batteries. I was planning to
order batteries when the ACT
chargers arrived in March, and ended up not ordering them. I’ve

We’re
saving a lot of money on batteries. Your sales person didn’t lie to
me. The firefighters love them, because in 30 min they’ve got the
battery charged and ready to go. We’re definitely getting more time
out of the batteries, when we’re out on a fire. Most of the batteries

more talk time than before. It’s fireman-friendly. It’s unusual when
a product says it will do something that it actually does what they say

Our
OEM chargers didn’t do nearly the job the ACT
chargers did. They recovered 68% of our batteries and increased
the capacity. You have no idea how much money these chargers will end up
saving us.
The
ACT
chargers will get our officers back in service quickly. It’s not just
the cost savings we’re thinking about – it’s the savings in
man-hours. We have six satellite precincts, and now they can get in and
out with good batteries without coming back to the station. We want to
be able to know that when the officer is getting a battery out of a
charger, they're getting a good battery.
The
chargers we got with the radios are just not working up to par. We were
surprised that the ACT chargers
are really as good as you advertised.
We’re
real happy with your charger. It’s doing what we should expect as a
